# Registry Publishing

{% hint style="info" %}
Make your MCP server discoverable by publishing it to one or more registries.
{% endhint %}

## Overview

Once your MCP server is deployed, you can publish it to external registries so AI developers can discover and connect to it. ChainContext supports 5 registry adapters.

## Supported registries

| Registry             | Type     | Requirements            |
| -------------------- | -------- | ----------------------- |
| **ChainContext**     | Platform | Deployed project        |
| **MCP Official** | API | Registry API key |
| **Smithery**         | API      | Smithery API key        |
| **ENS**              | On-chain | ETH wallet + ENS name   |
| **IPFS + The Graph** | On-chain | ETH wallet + Pinata key |

## Publishing from the dashboard

1. Go to your project → **Registries** tab
2. Select a registry adapter
3. Fill in required fields (varies by adapter)
4. Click **Publish**

### ChainContext registry

The simplest option — publishes your server to the [ChainContext registry](https://chaincontext.dev/registry) visible on the marketing site. No external accounts needed.

### ENS registry

{% hint style="warning" %}
Requires a connected wallet with an ENS name. Gas fees apply for the on-chain transaction.
{% endhint %}

1. Connect your wallet (SIWE)
2. Select your ENS name
3. ChainContext prepares the transaction
4. Sign with your wallet to publish

### IPFS + The Graph

Publishes your server metadata to IPFS (via Pinata) and indexes it on The Graph for decentralized discovery.

## Directory visibility

The **Directory Visibility** section lets you configure how your server appears in 8 external MCP directories. Each directory has its own listing format and requirements.

## Unpublishing

To remove your server from a registry, go to the Registries tab and click **Unpublish** next to the active listing.
